Blazon
This is one of a couple of blazons I have come across that doesn't make sense heraldically. You cannot have a "bar sinister" because a bar is a perfectly horizontal line across the field. It runs neither left nor right. Bends and batons can be sinister but not bars! --Crackclaw 06:34, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
While it does not conform to profesional blazon, a bar sinister is a term use for a bend sinister on popular heraldry as a mark of bastardry. --Ser Ash the Red 03:41, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. Have gone with the bend, though I think the whole 'sinister' = bastard thing is a bit of a popular misconception!
