This template gives the Unix day, that is, the number of days since Thursday, January 1, 1970 at 00:00:00 UTC. It is used to select the featured content on the Main Page.
Usage
[edit]By default, the calculation uses today's date:
{{unix day}}= 20718.
For other dates, use the first positional parameter (multiple formats seem to be accepted):
{{unix day|October 20, 2003}}→ 12345{{unix day|1997-05-19}}→ 10000
