From A Wiki of Ice and Fire
I'm Elio García, one of the founders of Westeros.org (along with my wife Linda). I'm of Cuban-American descent and a former Army brat who's lived in several states (Georgia -- where I was born -- North Carolina, California -- my favorite -- and Florida) and one other country (Italy) thanks to the Army shipping my family hither and yon.
Besides running the site and the A Song of Ice and Fire Forum, I've co-written the The World of Ice and Fire world book with Linda and GRRM, as well as the illustrated condensed version of Fire and Blood called The Rise of the Dragon. We also continue to run the George R.R. Martin-approved Blood of Dragons text-based online roleplaying MUSH.
