The Whalebone Gates were the gates of Ibbish, a ruined city in northern Essos.
History
The Whalebone Gates and the high white walls protected the city of Ibbish until Scoro, a Dothraki khal who lived during the Century of Blood, broke through the gates and sacked the city, looting temples and treasuries and carrying off the city's gods to Vaes Dothrak.[1][2]
