In {{Date|133}}, the [[Maiden's Day Ball]] was held at the [[Red Keep]] to find a second wife and new queen for King [[Aegon III Targaryen]]. Many [[maiden]]s across [[Westeros]] came to [[King's Landing]] in hopes of marrying the young king. However, the event was not a true ball, but merely a procession of maidens, each woman curtsying before the king while a [[herald]] announced her name and lineage. Anya, only seven years old, was one of these maidens. She informed King Aegon that her [[horse]] was named [[Twinklehoof]], and that she loved him very much. When Anya asked the king if he had a good horse, Lord [[Unwin Peake]], [[Hand of the King]], grew impatient with her, telling Anya that "His Grace has a hundred horses".{{Ref|FAB|Under the Regents - War and Peace and Cattle Shows}}
