Long Lew, [[Delp]], and [[Enger]] are on duty at the River Gate when [[Tyrion Lannister]]'s [[plot to free Jaime Lannister]] is carried out.{{Ref|ACOK|39}} A [[mummer]], imitating Ser [[Edmure Tully]]'s voice, orders the River Gate to be opened, fooling all three of them, who raise the portcullis. The escape is only stopped because Long Lew sees that Ser Edmure is returning in a boat, so he could not be below giving orders to open the gate. The three of them, with the help of more House Tully guards, managed to recapture the [[Kingslayer]], albeit Delp is grievously wounded.{{Ref|ACOK|39}}
