==History==
Lothor hosted [[Alysanne Targaryen]] when the queen visited [[Castle Black]] in {{Date|58}}. Lord [[Alaric Stark]] of [[Winterfell]] had sent word to the [[Night's Watch]] beforehand, so Lothor honored Alysanne with eight hundred black brothers when she arrived at the [[Wall]]. The lord commander served [[mammoth]], [[mead]], and [[Beer|stout]] at the welcoming feast. Alysanne suggested to Lothor that the [[Nightfort]], the oldest and largest castle at the Wall, which was too costly to maintain, be replaced with a smaller castle nearby. She used her own jewels (including her own [[crown]]) to finance the construction of the castle, which was named [[Deep Lake]].
