==House Template Navboxes==
Hi! The choice to do two templates within one was a discussion held on the forum's official wiki thread, starting [http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?/topic/34958-the-asoiaf-wiki-thread/&do=findComment&comment=7503210 here]. I believe it was for reasons of default open/closing of the navboxes, although that particular wiki feature seems to be broken since the last wiki upgrade (which is also being discussed on the forum wiki thread). :I second this! :) But, redirecting the "Start" and "Finish" templates to the main templates causes the pages which did not use the main template (e.g. who did not use <nowiki>{{HousesNorth}}</nowiki>, but used the separate <nowiki>{{HousesNorthStart}}</nowiki> and <nowiki>{{HousesNorthFinish}}</nowiki> instead) to display the new tepmlate you've created twice (for example, [[House Manderly]]. This only seems to be the case for the North, currently, as Dorne and the Crownlands used the main template (i.e. <nowiki>{{HousesDorne}}</nowiki>) instead of the "Start" and "Finish" templates.
:So, I think that redirecting the "Start" and "Finish" templates is not necessary. If they contain no data and are not used on any page, they can be deleted. For the northern houses that contain the "Start" and "Finish" templates ([http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:HousesNorthStart linked here]), I'd suggest we change the <nowiki>{{HousesNorthStart}}</nowiki> and <nowiki>{{HousesNorthFinish}}</nowiki> to <nowiki>{{HousesNorth}}</nowiki> (which now contains all the info necessary), so we can delete these separate "Start" and "Finish" templates, too. --[[User:Rhaenys Targaryen|Rhaenys Targaryen]] ([[User talk:Rhaenys Targaryen|talk]]) 20:23, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
