Following the death of [[Daeron II Targaryen]]'s eldest son, [[Baelor Targaryen (son of Daeron II)|Baelor]], and Baelor's two sons [[Valarr Targaryen|Valarr]] and [[Matarys Targaryen|Matarys]], Daeron was succeeded by his second son, [[Aerys I Targaryen]].
