==History==
Delena was a [[bedmaid]] for her cousin, [[Selyse Florent]], and attended [[wedding of Stannis Baratheon and Selyse Florent|her wedding]] to Lord [[Stannis Baratheon]]. During the wedding feast, while the bride and groom were still dancing, Stannis's brother, King [[Robert I Baratheon]], carried Delena upstairs to the bedroom of the newlyweds and broke in the wedding bed.{{ref|AGOT|35}} Robert later told Stannis he had not recognized the bedchamber because he was drunk, and had not meant to cause shame.{{ref|ASOS|54}} However, Stannis felt his brother's actions were an insult to [[House Florent]].{{ref|AGOT|35}} 

The coupling eventually led to the birth of [[Edric Storm]]. Because Delena had been a [[maiden]] of noble birth when Robert slept with her, he had to acknowledge the child as his [[bastard]].{{Ref|AGOT|35}}{{Ref|ACOK|10}}  Stannis had the infant sent to [[Storm's End]] to be [[fostered]] by his younger brother, Lord [[Renly Baratheon]].{{ref|AGOT|35}}

Lord [[Tywin Lannister]] once offered to betroth his son [[Tyrion Lannister|Tyrion]] to Delena, but her father, Ser [[Colin Florent]], refused, and instead married her to one of his [[household knight]]s, Ser [[Hosman Norcross]].{{Ref|ASOS|19}}
