A group of Stone Crows led by [[Gunthor|Gunthor son of Gurn]] encounter [[Tyrion Lannister]] and [[Bronn]] in the [[Mountains of the Moon]] after they leave the [[Eyrie]]. They threaten to kill Tyrion and Bronn, but Tyrion manages to win them over by promising them weapons, armor, and glory, in return for their help.{{Ref|AGOT|42}}

Stone Crows led by [[Conn]] and [[Shagga]] are among the near three hundred clansmen who accompany Tyrion as he leaves the mountains, while Gunthor stays behind to raise the other clans.{{Ref|AGOT|56}} A [[Moon Brother]] stabs a Stone Crow over a sausage, so three Stone Crows slit the Moon Brother's throat in the night.
