The [[Tyroshi tongue]] is a corrupted form of [[High Valyrian]].{{ref|ADWD|1}} [[Chett]], who comes from [[Hag's Mire]], thinks the Tyroshi speak a wet girly tongue,{{ref|ASOS|Prologue}} and [[Symon Silver Tongue]] and [[Tyrion Lannister]] think that [[Collio Quaynis]] has a ludicrous accent.{{ref|ASOS|32}}{{ref|ASOS|60}} [[Archon's daughter (Jaehaerys I)|The daughter]] of the Archon during the early reign of King [[Jaehaerys I Targaryen]] was considered to have a delightful accent, however.{{ref|FAB|The Year of the Three Brides - 49 AC}}
