== Maps ==
Originally I was just going to list all the places on the maps and consider them like another appendix because I was unsure about the copyright status of the maps. I like your idea of the non-copyright maps but I have to admit that I have no idea how to make or edit those. That being said, something like the fan art maps on Westeros would be great. A map where you can see all the sites on one map because even the maps of the south and north change from book to book, places are dropped, names are added. That's why I was adding a reference to each map from each book. Mainly because the map of the north in AFFC has a bunch of names that are not on the AGOT map. 

On the other hand, if we are going to put spoiler-like tags on each book section in articles, should the maps have the same progression? Or should there just be one map with everything on it? In the meantime while we make our own maps if that's what we want to do, are the maps fair-use? I assumed since they weren't considered publicity material they wouldn't be available.[[User:The Pale Griffin|The Pale Griffin]] 17:23, 18 March 2011 (CDT)

:: It's my understanding that as long as the maps is the "subject for commentary in the article" there is no problem of using the original maps, which means that we can definitively use it for all those [[:Category:Maps|articles]].
