Timett follows Tyrion, the acting [[Hand of the King]], to [[King's Landing]]. Timett and [[Bronn]] remain close to Tyrion when they arrive at the [[tourney on King Joffrey's name day]].{{ref|ACOK|2}}

While gambling on the [[Street of Silver]], Timett catches a wineseller's son cheating at tiles. Timett pins the man's wrist to the table with a dagger and then tears out his throat barehanded.{{ref|ACOK|8}}

Timett leads the group of Burned Men who guard Tyrion when the Hand visits the [[Guildhall of the Alchemists]],{{ref|ACOK|20}} and [[Shagga]] and he participate in Tyrion's intimidation of Grand Maester [[Pycelle]].{{ref|ACOK|25}}

Tyrion puts a halt to the public humiliation of [[Sansa Stark]] by King [[Joffrey Baratheon|Joffrey I Baratheon]], and he tasks Bronn and Timett with escorting the girl to the [[Tower of the Hand]]. Sansa is scared of the wildling.{{ref|ACOK|32}}

Before the [[Battle of the Blackwater]], Tyrion sends Timett with his Burned Men to the [[kingswood]], where they raid the forces of [[Stannis Baratheon]].{{ref|ACOK|49}}
