Ser [[Harwyn Plumm]], the commander of Darry's new garrison, has promised to bring Amerei the head of the leader of the outlaws, Lord [[Beric Dondarrion]]. Amerei also tries to convince Jaime to stay and protect Darry from the outlaws, complimenting him and stroking his [[gold]]en prosthetic hand, which he cannot feel. She does charm Ser [[Lyle Crakehall]] into agreeing to hunt the outlaws near her lands after the resolution of the [[siege of Riverrun]].{{Ref|AFFC|30}}

Jaime warns Lancel that Ami is interested in Harwyn, but Lancel does not care, and hopes they are happy together. Lancel explains he intends to renounce his [[lord]]ship over Darry and his unconsummated marriage with Amerei, and join the re-formed [[Warrior's Sons]].{{Ref|AFFC|30}} When Jaime leaves Darry, Amerei is crying over the end of her marriage while being comforted by Lyle Crakehall.
