Renly appoints him to his [[Rainbow Guard]] as Robar the Red and gives him a suit of blood red armor and a rainbow cloak.{{ref|ACOK|31}}

When [[Catelyn Stark]] attends the feast near [[melee at Bitterbridge|Bitterbridge]], Lord [[Bryce Caron]], a fellow member of the Rainbow Guard as Bryce the Orange, goads Robar into juggling daggers.{{ref|ACOK|22}}
