[edit]In the cave of the three-eyed crow beyond the Wall, Bran Stark and his companions Meera and Jojen Reed meet a remnant of the children of the forest, who serve the last greenseer, Lord Brynden. Their names are too long for the human tongue, according to Leaf, so Bran and Meera give them names. Ash is one of them. Bran does not know what Ash thinks about their new name.[1]
