The outer yard of the Red Keep, also called outer ward, is a yard in the Red Keep.
Lay out
The outer yard is found near the main gate of the serpentine steps.[1][2][3]
History
Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and her spouse, Prince Daemon Targaryen, landed in the outer yard of the Red Keep during the fall of King's Landing.[4]
Recent events
A Storm of Swords
Tyrion Lannister and his squire Podrick Payne walk amid the Tyrell silk and canvas pavillions in the outer yard during their walk to the Tower of the Hand to visit Tyrion's father, Lord Tywin.[2]
