Biter

Biter is a criminal, taken from the Black Cells and bound for the Wall in Yoren's band alongside Arya Stark, Gendry, Hot Pie, Lommy Greenhands, Jaqen H'ghar and Rorge. Because of their dangerous nature, he, Jaqen H'Ghar, and Rorge are transported in chains in a wagon with iron bars and kept separate from the others. Biter is described as enormous, bald, with soft, doughy flesh. His tongue had been cut and he does not speak, except to hiss. His teeth have been filed into points.

When Yoren's band is attacked by Ser Amory Lorch and Yoren is killed, Arya saves Biter's life, along with Rorge and Jaqen H'ghar, by giving them an axe to break free with as the room burns around their wagon. The three join the Brave Companions for a time, under Vargo Hoat. After Hoat's death, Biter travels with Rorge alongside remnants of the Companions and participates in the rape of Saltpans.

At the Inn of the Crossroads, after Rorge duels with and is slain by Brienne of Tarth, Biter quickly overpowers Brienne and begins savagely biting her face. He is stopped by Gendry, who drives a spear through the back of his neck, killing him.
