Cohollo is a bloodrider to Khal Drogo.
Appearance
[edit]Cohollo is a squat bald man with a crooked nose and a mouth full of broken teeth.[1] He is the oldest of Khal Drogo's three bloodriders.[1]
Cohollo is generally kinder than Haggo and Qotho.[1]
History
[edit]Cohollo became Drogo's protector when the child was born. Twenty years ago, Cohollo saved Drogo from sellswords hoping to abduct the young khalakka; Cohollo's teeth were shattered by a mace wielded by one of the assailants.[1]
Recent Events
[edit]A Game of Thrones
[edit]Daenerys Targaryen sees Cohollo with Khal Drogo when she comes to Drogo's manse in Pentos.[2] As a gift at their wedding, Cohollo gives them an arakh chased in gold.[3]
When Viserys Targaryen bares steel during a feast in Vaes Dothrak and threatens Daenerys, Drogo orders his bloodriders to seize him. Cohollo pulls away the exile's sword after Haggo shatters his wrist.[4]
After Drogo hunts a hrakkar, Cohollo leads a packhorse with the lion's carcass on its back to Vaes Dothrak.[5]
Cohollo receive a deep gash in his left shoulder when fighting Khal Ogo's warriors near a city of the Lamb Men.[6]
Cohollo treats Daenerys kindly until she attempts to heal Drogo with the help of Mirri Maz Duur. Fearing the maegi, Cohollo and the other bloodriders attempt to stop her from using bloodmagic. Cohollo nearly slashes the khaleesi's throat during the attempt, but he is killed by an arrow from Aggo which pierces his lungs and heart.[7]
