Meldred Merlyn, also known as the Merlyn,[1] is the Lord of Pebbleton and the head of House Merlyn.[3]
Appearance
Meldred is a bald fat man who dresses in furs and velvets.[1]
Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
At Pebbleton, Lord Meldred is blessed with seawater by Aeron Greyjoy, and he is among the first to hear Aeron call for a kingsmoot.[1] He attends the kingsmoot at Old Wyk, where he is among the supporters of Asha Greyjoy.[2]
Behind the Scenes
Meldred may have been named after Meldred and Merlin, two characters from the Arthurian legend.
