Reach or Marcher? --Potsk (talk) 18:09, 7 February 2021 (UTC)

Now they could be defeated piecemeal by the former Hand Orys Baratheon and the might of the Marcher lords—especially Savage Sam Tarly, whose sword, Heartsbane, was said to be red from hilt to point after the dozens of Dornishmen he cut down in the course of the Vulture Hunt, as the chase after the Vulture King became known.[1]

The Tarly lands lay inland amidst thickly wooded foothills, a hundred leagues northeast of Oldtown and a long way from any coast.[2]

If you consider those two quotes, I would say Tarlys should be considered Marcher from the Reach just like Dondarrions are Marcher from the Stormlands. Marcher is a subculture like the crannogmen or skagosi in the North but with the added particularity that it is not specific to one kingdom but rather shared by two (Reach and Stormlands). --Thomaerys Velaryon (talk) 18:24, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
