A Clash of Kings
Arnell is sent by Lord Commander Jeor Mormont as an ambassador to Renly Baratheon. Lord Mormont considered sending Samwell Tarly, on account of his father Lord Randyll Tarly's high position in Renly's councils. He sent Arnell because he was considerably more steady than Sam and was kin to the green-apple Fossoways.[1] It is not known if he reaches his destination before Renly's death, nor what has happened to him since.
Quotes
I'll send Ser Arnell. He's a deal steadier, and his mother was one of the green-apple Fossoways.[1]
