The conclave of magisters is a governing body in the Free City of Lys. The magisters are selected from amongst the wealthiest and noblest men of the city.[1]
History
Lysandro Rogare, a magister of Lys, styled himself First Magister for Life and people called him the Magnificent.[2]
The Triarchy was ruled by a High Council of thirty-three magisters, with Lys, Myr, and Tyrosh each supplying eleven members. The egotistic and self-centered magisters often sought to advance the causes of their home cities. Topics were usually subject to endless debate.[3]
