The conclave of magisters is a governing body in the Free City of Myr. The magisters are selected from amongst the wealthiest and noblest men of the city.[1]
Magisters in Myr give lavishly to passing khals to prevent their khalasars from sacking the city.[2]
History
The Triarchy was ruled by a High Council of thirty-three magisters, with Myr, Lys, and Tyrosh each supplying eleven members. The egotistic and self-centered magisters often sought to advance the causes of their home cities. Topics were usually subject to endless debate.[3]
