Erich Hoare, known as Erich the Eagle, was an ironborn raider from House Hoare. He was a grandson of Harrag Hoare, a High King of the Iron Islands.
History
Erich led an attack against the western shores of the north, which had been liberated from occupation by King Theon Stark.[1]
Notes
By the language used in The World of Ice & Fire, which simply mentions that the ironmborn returned to the western shores of the North "under" Erich the Eagle, it´s unclear whether or not Erich was High King after his grandfather or if he was just a leader of reavers.
