A flea is a small flightless insect in the known world.

Culture

Flea Bottom is a district in King's Landing, being so-called due to being the poorest, the foulest, and most lawless district of the city.[1]

History

When the greens marched against the Shepherd, Ser Perkin the Flea led his gutter knights from Flea Bottom up the slope of the Hill of Rhaenys.[2]

Daemon made many friends in King's Landing, especially in Flea Bottom, thus earning the alias of Lord Flea Bottom.[3]Due to their origins, the likes of Duncan the Tall and Davos Seaworth are sometimes referred to as Dunk of Flea Bottom,[4] and Davos of Flea Bottom.[5]
