The godswood of Highgarden is found at Highgarden, the seat of House Tyrell in the Reach. It contains three weirwoods known as the Three Singers.
Layout
[edit]Highgarden's renowned godswood is lush and green. Instead of having a single heart tree like most godswoods, Highgarden's wood contains three towering and graceful weirwoods. The limbs of the ancient weirwoods have grown so entangled over time that they look like one single tree, albeit with three trunks. Located beneath the so-called Three Singers is a tranquil pool.[1]
History
[edit]The Three Singers are said to have been planted by Garth Greenhand in antiquity.[1]
Although Garth IX Gardener, King of the Reach, built the first sept of Highgarden, he continued to pray within the castle's godswood.[2]
