Great Hall (Dragonstone)
The Great Hall is a feast hall at Dragonstone.[1]
Layout
The Great Hall is shaped like a dragon lying on its belly.[2] Its doors are set in the dragon's mouth, and entrants must pass by gateway teeth.[1] Inside, nobles can feast at the high table on a raised platform, and lower born eat at lower tables.[1]

A Clash of Kings
King Stannis Baratheon, Lord of Dragonstone, holds a quiet feast with his followers in the Great Hall. The fool Patchface collides with Cressen when the elderly maester arrives late. Melisandre places Patchface's bucket helm atop Cressen, leading the attendees to laugh at him. Stannis dismisses Cressen in favor of the younger Maester Pylos, but Ser Davos Seaworth allows Cressen to eat with him at a lower table. Cressen attempts to poison Melisandre with the strangler while leading a toast to her Lord of Light. The red priestess survives the assassination attempt, however, and the maester chokes to death instead.[1]
