When they are called upon for loyalty to House Tully by Lady Catelyn Stark, Kurleket and his fellow Bracken men-at-arms, Lharys and Mohor assist in the capture of Tyrion Lannister at the crossroads inn.[1]
Kurleket is among the party that escorts Lady Stark into the Mountains of the Moon. He threatens Tyrion, who remember his captors' names for future vengeance. Kurleket is slain during their first battle with Vale mountain clansmen, his face smashed by a mace. Tyrion takes his dirk.[1]
