Long Canal
The Long Canal is a large canal in Braavos.
Layout
Beginning in the south of Braavos's lagoon near the fishmarket, the Long Canal extends north under the sweetwater river and several bridges with the Silty Town to the east.[1] It then reaches the heart of the city, with the Palace of Truth to the northeast and the Sept-Beyond-the-Sea, the House of Black and White, the Isle of the Gods, and the Temple of the Lord of Light to the northwest. The Canal of Heroes flows into this city center from the west.[1]
The towers of the Antaryons and Prestayns are located near the Long Canal.[2] The waterway is frequented by serpent boats and barges.[2]

The Long Canal took Brusco's boat beneath the green copper domes of the Palace of Truth and the tall square towers of the Prestayns and Antaryons before passing under the immense grey arches of the sweetwater river to the district known as Silty Town, where the buildings were smaller and less grand. Later in the day the canal would be choked with serpent boats and barges, but in the predawn darkness they had the waterway almost to themselves.[2]
