Maiden's Bane is an ironborn longship and part of the Iron Fleet. It may be named after King Joron I Blacktyde, who was known as Maidensbane.[1]

[edit]After the taking of the Shields, Victarion Greyjoy keeps Maiden's Bane, Lord Dagon, Iron Wind, and Grief as part of his rearguard, commanding from his own ship, Iron Victory.[2]
A Dance with Dragons
[edit]Maiden's Bane appears three days prior to Victarion's departure from the Isle of Cedars.[3]
