The Mother of Mountains is a mountain that lies within sight of Vaes Dothrak in the Dothraki sea. The peak is found on the eastern shore of the Womb of the World, and the godsway runs from Vaes Dothrak to the mountain.

Culture

The Mother of Mountains is considered a holy place for the Dothraki people. Only men can set foot on it, which some do to make sacrifices to their gods. Feuding khalasars cease their fighting when near the Mother, and merchant caravans are allowed to visit Vaes Dothrak as long as they do not profane the Mother of Mountains or the Womb of the World.
