A Clash of Kings
Brienne of Tarth admits with sorrow to Lady Catelyn Stark that she never sang for Lord Renly Baratheon because she felt she had no gift for music, and because his fool made cruel japes about her singing.[1]
It is unclear if the fool mentioned by Brienne is the plump fool who pretends to be Ser Jaime Lannister during the farewell feast in the Great Hall of Bitterbridge for the departing Renly Baratheon.[2]
A Feast for Crows
Brienne is still afflicted for not having sung to Renly.[3]
