Salt son

A salt son is the son of an ironborn and a salt wife. They are considered trueborn and may inherit, though they are placed behind the sons and daughters of a rock wife.[1]
History
Toron Greyjoy succeeded Lord Dalton Greyjoy as his eldest salt son, but a struggle for power in the Iron Islands broke out when Toron's claim was contested.[2]
