- One question: this article states as a fact that Alyn Velaryon had a son with Baela Targaryen. I'm trying to find a source for that, but I can't find it. Cane anyone help me here?--The hairy bear (Send me a raven) 14:21, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think there is one. I don't remember but isn't there a passage that says House Velaryon continues through him and Baela ? There is also Baela and Alyn's talk about naming their first son "Corlys" after their grandfather (though they only had one daughter by the end of F&B Volume 1). I've always imagined their "stormy marriage" as a vicious circle: Alyn's sea voyage -> Rumor of Alyn's infidelity reaches Baela's ears -> Baela is angry at Alyn -> They make up after a time -> Baela is pregnant -> Alyn goes to sea again. I think they had one little Corlys in there somewhere. But ultimately I think you're right and we have no concrete evidence that Baela and Alyn had a son. --Thomaerys Velaryon (talk) 15:07, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
