Talk: Heraldry
Maitre d'Armes
There is an ingenious, yet ancient and hard to find software named "Maitre d'Armes" that is listed in one of the resource links. Hopefully it can be installed by way of this link. LuisDantas 05:15, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Btw, here is the Category:Coat of arms images for easy browsing through the existing COA, just in case someone missed it at the bottom of the COA pages. --Mor 08:45, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Bastard Heraldry
Has George R.R. Martin rules established about "Bastard Heraldry" besides the one in the article? For example, what for a heraldry would be used by Edric Storm? He's a bastard who's parents are both noble! And what would happen if a noble woman gives birth to a child that has no noble father or an unknown father? And in Dorne, what for a heraldry would use a "Sand", the one of the mother reversed or the one of the father reversed if both are nobles? --Exodianecross 07:42, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think it's kind of up to the bastard in question to choose his arms. Often, it seems, bastards use the sigil of "their house" origins in reverse, or slightly altered. --Rhaenys_Targaryen 11:29, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
