TWOIAF does provides us with a great amount of new detail, but the House Arryn article had a lot of information which was suitable for more specific articles. For instance, the details about the Winged Knight and the Falcon Knight are more appropriate for Winged Knight and Artys Arryn, which allows the House Arryn article to be more concise.
Additionally, some of the article's text was too similar to the text from TWOIAF. For instance, the wiki had:
They were almost defeated but the Andal lords and petty kings had finally come to realize their peril. And now they put aside their differences and made common cause under the banner of a single warlord. The man they chose to lead them was neither king, nor prince, not even a lord.
This was practically the same as the text from AWOIAF:
Robar had won his last victory, for the remaining Andal lords and petty kings had finally come to realize their peril. And now it was the Andals who put aside their differences to make common cause and unite beneath the banners of a single warlord. The man they chose to lead them was neither king nor prince, nor even lord, but a knight named Ser Artys Arryn.
Instead of imitating GRRM's text, we should summarize and use our own phrasing, whenever possible.
I then introduced subheadings for the History section, which makes it easier to arrange content chronologically (Kings, Targaryens, etc.) and helps to avoid the appearance of a wall of text. Nittanian 14:45, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
