For centuries the three great [[Slaver Cities]] of [[Slaver's Bay]] have been the linchpins of the slave trade, the place where [[Dothraki]] ''[[khal]]s'' and the [[corsairs]] of the [[Basilisk Isles]] sell their captives and the rest of the world comes to buy from the [[Ghiscari]].{{ref|ADWD|16}}
