[[Qotho]], one of Drogo's [[bloodrider]]s, bruises Doreah's soft skin when he touches her. [[Viserys Targaryen]] is usually kinder to Doreah than to Daenerys's [[Dothraki]] handmaids, and Daenerys has the Lyseni sew a fine sandsilk cloak for her brother. When Daenerys sends Doreah to bring Viserys to dinner, however, he strikes the handmaid. Daenerys then offers the cloak to her brother, but Viserys refuses to wear the Dothraki garb.{{ref|AGOT|36}}
