Noho travels to [[King's Landing]] to convince the [[Iron Throne]] to resume paying its debts to the [[Iron Bank of Braavos]]. During the first fortnight of his stay at King's Landing, Noho is forestalled by Lord [[Gyles Rosby]], the lord treasurer. Noho meets with Lord Gyles six times, but the latter cannot placate him.{{Ref|AFFC|24}}

When he is finally allowed to meet with Queen Regent [[Cersei Lannister]], Noho is not amused to be told by Cersei to speak with Gyles a seventh time, as the number seven is [[Faith of the Seven|sacred to the gods]] of [[Westeros]]. When Noho scowls at her, Cersei brings the audience to an abrupt end, informing him that the Iron Bank will receive its money after the rebellions in the [[Seven Kingdoms]] are dealt with.{{Ref|AFFC|24}}
