A Feast for Crows
Noho travels to King's Landing to convince the Iron Throne to resume paying its debts to the Iron Bank of Braavos. During the first fortnight of his stay at King's Landing, Noho is forestalled by Lord Gyles Rosby, the lord treasurer. Noho meets with Lord Gyles six times, but the latter cannot placate him.[2]
When he is finally allowed to meet with Queen Regent Cersei Lannister, Noho is not amused to be told by Cersei to speak with Gyles a seventh time, as the number seven is sacred to the gods of Westeros. When Noho scowls at her, Cersei brings the audience to an abrupt end, informing him that the Iron Bank will receive its money after the rebellions in the Seven Kingdoms are dealt with.[2]
