After the fall of Ghis, the self-styled freehold wanted its turn, seeking to emulate the success that slavery had brought to Ghis. In the mines underneath the [[Fourteen Flames]], "only the worst" slaves toiled, burned, and died to find [[gold]] and [[silver]].
