It is theorized [[Tywin Lannister]] is the [[Hand of the King]] "whose honor would not allow him to enter [a brothel] openly" so a tunnel was dug for him to enter [[Chataya]] [[Chataya's brothel|brothel]].

The following pieces of information can be seen as evidence:
* Tywin Lannister did get involved with whores, albeit in secret, as he did with [[Shae]].{{ref|asos|77}}
*The tunnel leads to a room that includes "a narrow window of leaded glass in a pattern of red and yellow diamonds", the colors of House Lannister.{{ref|acok|15}}
*Over the entrance of the brothel, swings a lamp described as "a globe of gilded metal and scarlet glass", also the colors of House Lannister.{{ref|acok|15}}
*One of the whores at Chataya's, [[Marei]], is [[Marei/Theories|theorized]] to be Tywin's bastard daughter, on account of her features, demeanor and age.
