Dragon lore refers to folklore about dragons consisting of legends, oral history, fairy tales, stories etcetera. When asked in what place, if any, has there been an accumulation of dragon lore GRRM replied: Valyria, the Citadel, Dragonstone, probably some of the Free Cities as well and maybe Asshai in the far east.
