Dirk is a member of the Night's Watch. He took his name from his favourite weapon.
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
He is part of the force that left Castle Black in search of the wildlings. Dirk was one of the conspirators who intended to kill Lord Commander Jeor Mormont and others. His part in the conspiracy was to kill Blane.[1] At Craster's Keep, after members of the watch insulted Craster to the point of his attacking them, he slit Craster's throat, killing him. [2]
