Bailiffs are feudal officials in the Seven Kingdoms tasked with collecting duties and taxes on behalf of a lord. They also have authority to deliver justice, including sentencing outlaws to be executed.[1] Some of them are as brutal and cruel as Essosi slave overseers.[2]

History

The father of Jack-Be-Lucky, a member of the brotherhood without banners was hanged by one of Lord Piper's bailiffs.[1]
