Othor was a member of the Night's Watch. He returned from a ranging party as a wight.

A Game of Thrones
Othor was a member of the ranging party commanded by Benjen Stark. Jon Snow found his corpse in the Haunted Forest when he went to say his vows beneath the weirwoods. His corpse was brought back to Castle Black. Reanimated as a wight, he sought out and attempted to kill Lord Commander Mormont but was stopped by a fire started by Jon Snow.[1]
Appearance
He was a big, ugly man whose eyes turned blue as a Wight.[2]
