Barre is a septon who administers the sept at Dragonstone.[1]

Septon Barre protests when men sworn to Queen Selyse Florent sack his castle sept, and he is thrown into the dungeons under Dragonstone, along with the two surviving sons of Ser Hubard Rambton, who defended the sept from the queen's men by force, and pious Lord Guncer Sunglass, who renounces his support for Stannis Baratheon.[1]
A Storm of Swords
Guncer and the two Rambtons are burned for treason by Melisandre and Selyse.[2] Barre's fate is not mentioned.
