Guncer Sunglass is the Lord of Sweetport Sound and head of House Sunglass.[1] He has at least one brother.[3]
Appearance and Character
Guncer wears moonstones at his throat, wrists, and fingers.[4] He is pious in his faith in the Seven,[4] praying three times a day.[5]

As Stannis Baratheon's vassal, Lord Guncer supports his claim to the Iron Throne. Stannis complains about Guncer's constant muttering about the will of the Seven.[4]
After queen's men destroy the sept at Dragonstone, Guncer approaches Stannis and tells him he can no longer support his claim. Stannis has him promptly thrown in the cells beneath Dragonstone with the two surviving sons of Ser Hubard Rambton.[6]
A Storm of Swords
On the orders of Queen Selyse Florent, Lord Guncer and Hubard Rambton's surviving sons are burned alive for treason by Melisandre as sacrifices to R'hllor, while Stannis is fighting the Battle of the Blackwater.[7] Guncer's brother succeeds him as head of House Sunglass, and flees to Volantis.[3] Stannis takes responsibility for Guncer's death.[3]
Ser Triston of Tally Hill, who was one of Guncer's men, aids Lord Davos Seaworth with smuggling Edric Storm from Dragonstone.[8]
